I've finally got the PhillyGoth list changed over and integrated. A few last-minute bugs, but it looks pretty good. The archive is on the site, and everyone has an account. Now to update the news.

At this moment, I'm getting PAID to make some signifigant changes to the PhillyGoth site and mailing list, because I found a way to convince my boss that we can use the changes elsewhere.

So, your humble and attentive PhillyGoth webmaster (me) is celebrating my birthday this week by going out to Nocturne this coming Wednesday for the first time in ages.  Donations to the upkeep of the website can be made directly to the bar staff at Shampoo in exchange for drinks, which I will happily consume.  Remember, folks, drunkenness is the gift that keeps on giving.  I'll be the bald guy wearing a shirt describing my love of sheep.

Donations will also be accepted tomorrow at John's Dark Corner, where grendelsden will be accepting donations for hooking the site up with the bling bling.

And for those of you who for whatever reason haven't seen the fun that is PhillyGoth, scurry on over!

I got to flex my administrative muscles on the PhillyGoth site today. Someone signed up for a bio and listed a link to a neo-Nazi record label. So I deleted the link, emailed him, and added a line in the FAQ clarifying that such things are unacceptable.

Should have been common knowledge.

Strangely enough, the user ID of the new bio was 88 (a racist code for Heil Hitler). While it's likely coincidental, he may have been waiting for it. I may be reading in to this a bit, but he's been using the site for a while to email nearly every woman on the site with lame chat attempts, so it's not too much to think that he's been waiting until the user IDs got up to 87 to post his bio, ensuring him #88.

So, just to be spiteful, I changed it to 89.

Finished Warcraft III for the umpteenth time, so now I can get my mind back to PhillyGoth.

Walls are all up and sanded. V. did 99% of the spackling and sanding. Another round of spackling and sanding, then up goes the molding and the paint, and ITS DONE.

Then I can move the masterslavedevice back in there and get cracking on PhillyGawf.

Ok, so we're about halfway through putting the walls up, and all the in-wall wiring is DONE. The room is looking good.

In other news, nothing interesting is going on.

I need to devote more time to PhillyGoth. I swears I'ma get it done before the end of the month. Even if it's 1/31/04 11:59:59.
