I love reading things written by rabid, foaming at the mouth republicans who honestly think that they can tell _me_ what is best for me. Um, yeah. You try that God-boy. And why you are ranting that no women should be in combat areas and no homosexuals should be married (in fact I'm sure he'd love that all homosexuals were just killed), I'll be off making out with your daughter in the worst combat zone I can find. It won't do any good, but it will make me feel better, knowing that I am pissing off a conservative man like that.
Though, in all seriousness, the reason why Iraq and most of the region is as bad as it is right now is because we have taken away all it's stability and are now just slaughtering or imprisoning the area's citizens willy-nilly. At this point our policy of Israel (which has not been insane support in the past in my opinion and will be no support at all shortly if Shrub has his way) has taken a back seat to the fact that our military and civilian personnel in the area are torturing people for what amounts to no good reason. Even before this "War on Terror" crap our support of Israel wasn't the driving factor behind the terrorist attacks on our embassies. It was the general attitude that we had that we would waltz into that area like we belonged there and everyone should really just shut up and listen to us. Come on, who the hell were we to stick our noses into that? What can be more insulting than treating any nation as if they are ruled by retarded children? Supporting a cause is one thing, it's another one entirely to get involved.
